Acrylic on canvas

I’ve always loved building. At home, that meant fixing or making things with my hands. At work, it meant coding building pages, shaping digital assets, solving puzzles on a screen. Even though I couldn’t physically touch what I made, it gave me the same sense of satisfaction. My laptop, keyboard, and text editor became my workshop.

But over time, that joy faded. The work became less about creating and more about endless emails, meetings, approvals, and last-minute “urgent” requests. By the time I actually sat down to code, it was rushed and messy spaghetti solutions pushed out just to keep things moving. What I once loved now drained me.

This painting holds both those truths the thrill of building and the weight of corporate noise that silenced it.
