ARTIST BIO
Juan Chavez is a contemporary abstract artist based in Fort Worth, Texas. His work transforms memories, emotions, and everyday materials into layered, tactile paintings. Beginning in his “art book,” a space for experimentation and play, Chavez builds surfaces with acrylic, twine, cardboard, and dried paint skins. Guided by intuition and a sense of flow, his process reflects a shift toward creative freedom and mindfulness, inviting viewers to experience abstraction as a form of renewal, discovery, and balance.
