Break Free
Materials & Details
• Acrylic on canvas
• Original painting (not a print)
• Signed on the back
• Ready to display
• Size: 10 x 10 inchesAbout This Piece
Break Free represents my journey to liberate myself from the sedentary lifestyle I had fallen into. Spending hours sitting at work, only to return home and continue working, led to unhealthy eating habits, back pain, and leg numbness that made standing for more
than ten minutes unbearable. This piece symbolizes my decision to break free from that stagnant state. The chair, fragmented and breaking apart, signifies the change I am making, while the black-and-white depiction of the chair serves as a memory, a reminder of a past that once defined me but no longer holds me captive.
