Gridlock

$800.00

18×18 inches

acrylic on canvas

Corporate life is full of personalities, egos, tempers, alliances, and people who never quite fit.

The shapes in this piece echo the cubicles I once worked in — boxed-in spaces where coworkers collide, clash, or fade into the background.

Some forms cluster together, like the inner circles that exist in every office.

Others sit alone, reflecting the people who feel isolated but stay because they need the job.

And then there are the quiet ones who just want to do the work and go home.

Underneath it all is the burnout, the slow accumulation of frustration and emotional fatigue.

Navigating that world takes hard skills, soft skills, and a lot of patience.

The grid structure captures the repetition, pressure, and feeling of being stuck, the same dynamic no matter where I worked.

That’s the reality behind “Gridlock.”
